Cookies and what we count

What EasyShow needs

A session cookie while you are signed in, a “remember me” token if you asked for one, and one random identifier that lets us count a returning reader without knowing who they are. No address and no browser fingerprint is stored with it. These are not optional — without them you cannot stay signed in.

Google Analytics, only if you allow it

It tells us how many people open a timetable and where they give up, which is how the app gets better. It sets its own cookies and Google is the one processing that data. Nothing is loaded from Google until you say yes, so declining means the request is never made rather than made and ignored. Advertising and personalisation are switched off either way.

Changing your mind

Your answer is kept in this browser and nowhere else. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings forgets it, and EasyShow asks again on your next visit.
